Mystic Marine Advisors is a US based company formed in 1998 to provide advice and execution services to strategic and financial participants in the international ocean shipping industry.
Who We Are
Brad Berman, Managing Director
Brad has over 35 years experience in the maritime sector. He has served as a partner focused on shipping in several leading law firms and as the former executive director of the Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry, the second-largest in the world with nearly 4,000 ships.
Brad is also a past president of the Connecticut Maritime Association, past chair of the Admiralty Committee of Bar of the City of New York, current Chair of Intertanko’s Associate Member Committee, and a Director for the New York Maritime Inc. (NYMAR).
Brad is a member of the NY and FLA Bar Associations and received his B.B.A from George Washington University, his J.D. from New York Law School and his MBA from the City University of N.Y., Baruch College.
Jeffrey Owen Parry, President
Jeff has over 35 years of experience in the ocean shipping industry. Mr. Parry has served as chairman of the board of TBS Shipping Ltd, a drybulk owner where he led a successful turnaround, CEO of Aries Maritime Transport Ltd., a tanker and containership owner that was listed on NASDAQ.
He also served as a managing director of Poten & Partners, the energy and shipping consultant. Mr. Parry started his maritime career as a stevedore on the New York waterfront.
Mr. Parry holds a B.A. from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
